Florida Association of Chamber Professionals
Appoints 2009-2010 Board of Directors

Tallahassee, Fla. (October 16, 2009) – The Florida Association of Chamber Professionals (FACP) installed its 2009-2010 Board of Directors at the 89th annual leadership conference held October 12-14 in Orlando. The Board of Directors is the governing body responsible for overseeing the operations of FACP.

Troy McLellan, President & CEO of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce will replace Kellie Jo Kilberg, President/CEO of the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, as the chair of FACP. As chair, McLellan will lead the board and oversee their direction in the coming year.

The 2009-2010 Board of Directors include:

CHAIR: Troy McLellan, Greater Boca Raton Chamber
CHAIR-ELECT: Shane Moody, Destin Area Chamber
TREASURER: Tammy Bracewell, Greater Brandon
PAST CHAIR: Kellie Jo Kilberg, Clay County Chamber


The following Vice Chairs have been appointed for the 2009-2010 term:

NW Region – Carol Roberts, Bay County Chamber;
NE Region – Robin Burchfield, St. Johns County;
Central Region – Ray San Fratello; South Lake Chamber;
West Central – Laura Simpson, Greater Brandon Chamber;
SE Region – Stella Tokar, Miramar-Pembroke Pines Regional;
SW Region – Marietta Mudgett, Greater Fort Myers Chamber.

In addition, five individuals have been appointed for a one-year term, including:

John Long, St. Petersburg Chamber;
Art Kimbrough, Jackson County Chamber;
Laura Simpson, Greater Brandon Chamber;
Christine Michaels, Melbourne-Palm Bay Area Chamber;
John Ashworth, Seminole County Regional Chamber.

Board nominees for the 2009-2012 include: Jaye Baillie, Seminole business Chamber; Tricia Brunson, Niceville Valparaiso Chamber; Penny Chandler, Indian River County Chamber; Nicole Christian, Northern Palm Beach County; Sonia Douglas, Gainesville Area Chamber; Stina D’Uva, West Orange Chamber; Robin Grabowski, Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber; Dennis Grady, Chamber of the Palm Beaches; Barry Johnson, Greater Miami Chamber; Julie Mathis, Charlotte County Chamber; Tom Morrissette, Largo/Mid Pinellas Chamber; Tom Ramiccio, Greater Lake Worth Chamber; Michael Reagen, Greater Naples Chamber and Mark Wilson, Florida Chamber.
