Tallahassee, Fla. (October 16, 2009) – The Florida Association of Chamber Professionals (FACP) recognized Florida’s top chambers of commerce throughout the state for their outstanding achievement and dedication to the industry at the 89th annual leadership conference held October 14, 2009 in Orlando.

In, 2003, FACP implemented the distinction of Florida Certified Chamber to recognize standards of professional excellence in Florida. The Certified Chamber of Commerce program identify chambers who have met high standards and strengthened free enterprise by protecting the business environment.

This year, five chambers received this prestigious certification;

Manatee County Chamber of Commerce,
Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce,
Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce,
Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce,
Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce.

The Certified Chamber of Commerce program is designed to promote the public awareness of the intent of the Chamber of Commerce brand as a not for profit community development based business membership organization.
